  Medicine Park Day Trip   $179 Trip is Tuesday, March 28, 2026 - Jan Lemons 405503-015

This is 1 1/2   hour trip to destination. Arrive at Medicine Park approximately 1100am11:00 am --- We will eat lunch at The Old Planation when we arrive. Lunch, wter, tea, or soda is included, any alcoholic beverages are paid by you as an individual.
After lunch you can walk around the street and see the shops, along with the river that runs through this small quaint town.
1:00 pm --- We will meet at the bus and go to Medicine Park Aquarium and Natural Sciences Center.
2:30 pm --- We will board the bus and go up to The Holy City.
4:00pm --- Board the bus and return home. Estimated arrival 530
Medicine Park is a historic cobblestone resort town in southwest Oklahoma, known for its unique red granite architecture and location at the entrance to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Founded in 1908 as a health spa, it features Bath Lake, Medicine Creek, and rustic cabins, attracting visitors for outdoor recreation like hiking, swimming, and wildlife viewing. You will see Buffalo roaming, Elk, and Deer.
The Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center,  is an eco-tourism attraction near the Wichita Mountains featuring over 90 species of fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. It offers daily feeding shows, interactive exhibits, and a six-acre botanical garden.
The Holy City of the Wichita’s is a public park and outdoor theater in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge outside of Lawton, Oklahoma. Made up of locally sourced granite, the park aims to replicate ancient Jerusalem during Biblical times.
The Old Plantation Restaurant serves up plenty of charm alongside its legendary food. One step into this grand, three-story building will transport you back in time as you browse through the historic photos lining the wall. The Grand Hotel remains, as well as a gift shop and the original Tap Room bar complete with beer, wine and spirits.
Be advised that you should wear tennis shoes or shoes for stability as the streets are uneven. Also the garden at the Aquarium outdoors is a gravel pathway.

Take a photo at the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las  Vegas” sign on South Las Vegas Boulevard, then head off to start your  adventures. Venture downtown and zipline or Take a break from the bright lights and visit nearby Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for hiking, biking and climbing adventures.  Las Vegas offers  whitewater rafting at the Grand Canyon and year-round golf and dune buggy tours through sand dunes. Check out The Neon Museum to tour the  signs that once adorned Las Vegas hotels and casinos. Also, sure to  capture your interest are The Mob Museum (visit The Underground  Speakeasy & Distillery in the basement), the National Atomic Testing  Museum and Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.

South  Padre Island is a resort town on a barrier island of the same name, off  the southern coast of Texas. It’s known for its beaches and calm  waters. The island host many boutique shops, fun park for kids, The South Padre Island  Dolphin Research & Sealife Nature Center offers boat tours and  touch tanks. Sea turtles are rescued and rehabilitated at Sea Turtle Sanctuary.  Live music and fabulous fun night life.
